It's officially winter here in New England, and mother nature has come through with that cold air we never seem to get used to.  It's a whopping 11 degrees out currently, and my ears are cold just thinking about it!

For those of you who aren't familiar with a Nor'Easter, consider yourself lucky.  It's a storm that forms off the coast of the North Eastern United States (I'm in the Boston area).  They kick up strong winds along the coast generally traveling North East.  Those of us near the coast get rocked with these storms. They come with strong winds, massive waves and often times, more than a foot of snow.  They're impressive t…

Baby Dragon Amigurumi

**To obtain a large print, no add, downloadable PDF version of this pattern for a low price (and if you want to support yours truly) you can get that by following This Link** Thank you! If you know me, or follow me on social media you'll know that gaming is one of the few things I do as much as I crochet.  Recently, they remastered and released the first 3 Spyro games - and let me tell you, this girl has gotten in her Spyro time.

The below pattern written with the assumption you have a basic knowledge of crochet and amigurumi, please feel free to contact me directly with any…

They say that fashion cycles, sometimes this is a terrible idea (stonewashed jeans should never, ever be a thing again), but sometimes its a good thing, like now, when scrunchies make their come back.

This scrunchie pattern is ridiculously easy.  I'm not even sure we can call it pattern - its more of a How To.

First, lets talk about the yarn.  Bernat Velvet Yarn, this stuff is AMAZING.  If you haven't gotten your hands on some, even if you aren't making scrunchies, I recommend it.  Just keep some on hand to touch and caress every once in a while.  You don't even have to make anything with it.

This yarn is Bulky weight (5) and calls for a 6.5mm crochet hook.  Its much thinner, and softer, than their blanket yarn.  However, I will note that because of the texture of this yarn, the stitch definiti…
